Refund Policy

Scope

This policy applies to paid application analytics engagements with datasecnet—including Event Taxonomy Audits, Conversion Path Rebuilds, Retention Signal Maps, and Analytics Governance Setup. It does not cover software products, physical goods, or third-party tool subscriptions, which we do not sell.

Eligibility window

You may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of invoice payment if no kickoff call has occurred and we have not received access credentials or source data for the engagement. After kickoff or after access is granted, refunds follow the partial rules below.

Full refund conditions

A full refund is available when we cancel an engagement for reasons on our side, or when you cancel before kickoff within the eligibility window above. Refunds are paid to the original payment method within fourteen (14) business days of approval.

Partial refunds

If work has started—inventory begun, walkthroughs held, or draft artefacts shared—we may issue a partial refund equal to fees paid minus time already spent at the rates implied by the engagement quote, rounded to the nearest half day. Partial refunds require a written request within fourteen (14) days of the cancellation notice.

Non-refundable items

Completed deliverables that have already been handed over (final taxonomy sheets, QA scripts, retention maps, governance handbooks for periods already delivered) are non-refundable. Deposits held to reserve a start date become non-refundable once we have declined other work for that slot and kickoff is within five business days, unless we fail to start on the agreed date.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a kickoff once at no charge with at least five business days’ notice. Later reschedules or no-shows for scheduled walkthrough sessions may forfeit that session’s allocated time without extending the engagement. Multi-week engagements already underway are not prorated for early cancellation unless required by mandatory law.

Work already started and purchased materials

Time spent on inventory, interviews, and analysis after kickoff counts as work already started. We do not purchase physical materials for these engagements; any third-party analytics tool fees remain your responsibility and are never refunded by us.

Process

Email hello@datasecnet.digital with the invoice number, engagement name, and reason for the request. We confirm receipt within three business days and state whether a full or partial refund applies. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original method.

Exceptions

If mandatory Korean consumer protections grant broader rights for your situation, those rights prevail. Disputes about refund amounts are first addressed in writing; unresolved matters follow the governing law stated in our Terms.
